What to expect
Each course covers a journey of nature experience, adventure, connecting with others, team building and skills development.
Adapting to individual needs, capabilities and wants is key, and no participant will be made to feel uncomfortable, but will at the same time have the opportunity to push oneself if wanted. All the courses are outcome and challenge based, with plenty of relax and reflection time round the campfire.
Outdoor skills building
The outdoor skills building course covers basic bushcraft and survival techniques, overall aimed to be a fun way to take time out to do activities you may not normally do, meet new people, and strengthen your own ways of working with others in a team.
Whether you are completely new to bushcraft or well seasoned - through the outdoor skills course you will learn about or further develop the essential skills of bushcraft and survival and teach you how to use these effectively in a variety of situations. At the end of the day you will feel a real sense of achievement, having met new people and learnt new things, as well feeling the benefits of a day outdoors in nature.
The knowledge building centres around the process of identifying exactly what we need to survive, however, the day is aimed at a fun way to take time out for yourself, and to connect with others in an informal way, at a time when we have been largely alone during the Covid pandemic.
